“Expensive wallpaper? Or standing out from the crowd.” As an industry we are moving in the right direction - we are doing research, we are getting our EVPs sorted out and we are investing big dollars in employer brands, but are we getting creative cut through? Are happy, smiling faces saying enough, especially when everyone is using a similar happy, smiling look? The Australian advertising industry overall has slipped into "brandroid" conservatism over the past decade, but we shouldn't let our industry suffer too.So we’re going to have some fun reviewing a selection of cutting edge employer branding campaigns from around the globe that will challenge, confront you and make you think. And guess what, these campaigns don’t look like employment advertising! Let's breakthrough the shackles of mediocrity and find ways to cut through the clutter on and off line in the recruitment space, campaigns that set bench marks, get noticed and change the perception of a brand!
